Bin Checker Scholarship

Support for students who
cannot afford the fee

At Bin Checker we have always helped and encouraged education and hardworking students. Some students want to pursue their education but are unable to afford the fee, so we are offering a scholarship for talented and college-going students.

One award of $1500 is given to a single student in each cycle, as a fee.

Scholarship Amount

$1500per student, per cycle

The award is provided as a tuition fee for one selected student each cycle. Applicants send their name and institution details by email, and applicants under 18 need parental permission.

Who can apply

Eligibility criteria

Applying for the scholarship is straightforward. Each applicant must meet every condition listed below before the entry is considered.

  • Currently enrolled in, or planning to attend, a college or university.
  • In good academic standing.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Applicants under 18 must have parental permission.

The Bin Checker Scholarship exists for students who want to continue their education but cannot cover the tuition fee themselves. The program is built around the same practical idea as the rest of this site: making financial information understandable and accessible to the people who need it. Applicants are asked to share their name and institution details, and each cycle a single selected student receives an award applied toward tuition. The aim is not charity for its own sake, but a recognition of hardworking learners who would otherwise be interrupted by financial barriers.

Applying for the scholarship is a straightforward, email-based process. Interested students send their name and their institution details, and the selection of one awardee per cycle follows from that submission. Because the award is directed at a college-going student, the eligibility criteria focus on enrolment and demonstrated effort rather than on elaborate documentation. Meanwhile, the broader Bin Checker toolkit continues to serve the everyday payment side of life: entering the first six digits of a card to check its issuing bank, brand, and country, so shoppers and merchants can identify and verify card details before a transaction is approved.
